A Vampire Lover Is A Runnin'
Monday, February 1st, 2010 @ 3:59pm
Sookie, [ahem] I mean Anna Paquin, is keeping 'True Blood' fit by hitting the boardwalk for a jog in Venice, California on Friday (1/29).
She looks like she should be on some CSI show running in those sunglasses.
Mad Men Star's Husband Sticks Up For His Wife's Weight
Monday, February 1st, 2010 @ 1:40pm
Christina Hendricks' husband has jumped to 'Mad Men' star's defense after her weight was criticized by a fashion blogger following her recent appearance at the Golden Globes - insisting the catty critic distorted the image.
Busty redhead Hendricks showed off her curves in a champagne-colored ruffled gown on the red carpet of the awards ceremony earlier this month (1/10). However, New York Times blogger Cathy Horyn didn't appreciate the lavish design, writing,
"You don't put a big girl in a big dress. That's rule number one."
Hendricks' husband, actor Geoffrey Arend, was left fuming by the comments - and only calmed down after seeing messages of support for his wife posted by readers of the blog. He tells People.com,
“I was just upset about the whole Golden Globes dress thing. I thought she looked so gorgeous. And that New York Times blogger saying that… It’s so ridiculous.
“What was nice was seeing the entire internet come after that blogger. That was really cool. It was the first time I saw just a solid block of ‘You’re crazy! What’s wrong with you? You should be ashamed of yourself!’ And honestly, the Gray Lady (New York Times' nickname) should be ashamed of themselves to print a picture like that, that they widened!”
Lee Hyori: New Face Of Adidas Women Line

Adidas has endorsed stars like David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and Daft Punk - but their next endorsement deal is with Asian pop singer Lee Hyori.
Hyori is internationally known for her talents and will be the representative for the women's line with singer Ciara. Hyori is also the first star from Asia to be a model for this campaign.
Kellan Lutz Snowboarding
Monday, February 1st, 2010 @ 10:07am
Kellan Lutz wasn't letting the cold weather keep him from being active - the actor hit Big Bear City to go snowboarding on Mt. Summit (1/30). Lutz who seemed like he knew what he was doing, enjoyed some company with his brother and a lady friend.
I'm glad he's a good enough snowboard to not get any broken bones - filming his new film with Mandy Moore First Love, Then Marriage would have been delayed.
'Precious' Star Loves Being The 'Alien' In The Room
Monday, February 1st, 2010 @ 7:00am
Gabourey Sidibe, star of Precious, dealt with weight issues since she was six. Having accepted who she is (size and all), Gabourey is proud of herself, and isn't afraid to show it.
Smiling ear to ear on the March cover of Ebony magazine, she tells the mag about not succumbing to the pressure of Hollywood regarding beauty:
“I don’t try to live up to the standards of Hollywood or any of that – I know that I’m different and I celebrate it. In a weird way, I kind of really, really love being the alien in the room. I dig it.”
I have to give it to her for being strong - I think I would crack if I was a big girl in Hollywood with all the twigs standing next to me.
To read more of Gabourey's interview with Ebony, make sure to pick up a copy on newsstands Tuesday, February 9.
