Recipe: Kale Chips
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 @ 2:47pm
Kale chips are something that's so simple to make, yet so delicious and nutritious. You simply heat your oven to 375 degrees. Take the kale and break it into large pieces and spread on a cookie sheet. You drizzle some olive oil on top, sprinkle with parmesan and a little salt and throw in the oven for around 15 minutes.
Take them out when they are brown on the edges and look crispy. These are so tasty and quick and will easily satisfy you when you are craving something you can munch on. Try them and be prepared to be wowed!

What Keeps Ashley Tisdale Fit On The Road?
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 @ 12:11pm
By now, we all know that Ashley Tisdale has some killer genes (ahem - those legs!). Despite her naturally thin physique, Ms. Tisdale definitely enjoys working out to relieve stress. Her on-tour secret? Piloxing!
“It’s Pilates and boxing put together,” she told OK! Magazine. “I always make time for it, because not only is it healthy for you, but it also relieves my stress. I’m so busy doing stuff and I get stressed a lot that working out takes me away from that."
When she's not on the road, Ashley makes sure to cook her own meals and squeezes in 30-40 minutes on the elliptical in addition to an hour of Piloxing. What's her goal? To get buff!
“I workout to build a little muscle on me because I’ve always been very thin,” she says.
Nothing like a strong woman with strong goals!
'True Blood' Has Its Own Soft Drink?
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 @ 12:01pm
Apparently so! And Access Hollywood had an exclusive first-taste-test in receiving the opportunity to sip the blood-sucking-hued bottle of soda pop, inspired by the HBO series True Blood, starring Anna Paquin and Steven Moyer.
What did the Access Hollywood staffers think of it?
Like liquid candy” one staffer said after taking her sip of the crimson red liquid that made it’s debut at Comic-Con this weekend.
“Fruity and sweet, with a nice fizzy bite at the end,” one team member said.
You can purchase bottles of your own (by the bundle!) at HBO.com starting this September.
Marissa Jaret Winokur: Reporting For Duty!
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 @ 11:53am
But this wasn't just a minor slip up for Winokur and she knew that she needed an extra boost (or shall we say boot) to get her back on the weight-loss wagon. Enter boot camp.
The Dance Your Ass Off host blogged about her 6 a.m. boot camp experience:
Boot camp seems to be good for me. It really had a good combination of weight training and cardio (jumping jacks and jump rope). Actually, the act of exercising at 6 a.m. really helped me. It made me not dread the workout part of my day all day long. Also, when I went to have a tiny cheat, I would really think back to how hard I worked and thought, "It is not worth going to boot camp an extra week over one peanut butter cup."
Michael Jackson's Doctor Culprit For His Death
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 @ 11:40am
The source says that the doc gave Jackson the drug 24 hours before he died.
Ed Chernoff, a Houston lawyer hired by Murray soon after Jackson’s death, confirmed at the time that Los Angeles Police detectives and federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents used a search warrant to enter Murray’s office in northeast Houston Wednesday morning.
