'No Doubt' About Those Abs Gwen!

Whoa, I would like to take a moment and admire Gwen Stefani's abs for a sec.  The No Doubt singer must be working her butt off to get those abs, you go Gwen!

These photos are from Summerfest 2009 in Milwaukee, WI.

Christian Bale Definitely Not Batman Fit!

I'm speechless looking at these photos of actor Christian Bale!  He has stunned fans with his emaciated appearance as he prepares to play drug addicted boxer Dickie Eklund in a new drama.

The Batman actor was hardly recognizable on Monday (July 13) as he was photographed looking gaunt walking through Los Angeles, where he is filming The Fighter.

Method actor Bale, who lost 63 pounds (29 kilograms) for his role in 2004's The Machinist, has apparently embarked on a severe diet to play Eklund, whose welterweight boxing career ended in 1985 because of his addiction to cocaine.

This look like it's going to far, the guy seriously looks like a cocaine addict, just hope he's not seriously damaging his body!

No Pain, I 'Swear!'

We all know that awful pain when we stub our toe or bump our head. We also all know the first words that come into our minds are usually four letters long and not something you would say in front of your grandparents. However, swearing appears to be the most satisfying response when we hurt ourselves, and now there is scientific evidence to prove it!

British scientists set up an experiment in which two groups submerged their hands into freezing water. One of the groups was told not to swear, while the other group was allowed to repeat two swear words of their choice. Initially, the researchers believed that the swearing group would report higher levels of pain than the non-swearing group, as they would be more focused on their pain. In fact, they found the opposite was true! Their results showed that saying those four letter words out loud had a “painkilling effect”.

Not only were the swearing group able to keep their hands in the freezing water for longer, but they also reported lower pain levels, especially for the female participants. One of the researchers, Richard Stephens, believes this is because women tend to swear less in real life and so when they do swear, it has a powerful effect.

One pain researcher from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Doris Cope was not surprised by the outcome and suggests two reasons why this may be:

Elizabeth Taylor In Hospital

Elizabeth Taylor is reportedly in hospital in Los Angeles after the death of her close pal Michael Jackson left her emotionally drained.

The ailing 77-year-old icon was taken to a medical centre from her home in Beverly Hills on Monday (July 13), according to the New York Post. She is allegedly suffering extreme exhaustion and has been weeping constantly since Jackson's death last month (June 2009). No further details were available as WENN went to press.

Taylor, a long-term friend of Jackson, was so stunned at his death she collapsed in her Hollywood home after hearing

One Natural Experience

It's summer time, and when we're working out we need something to replace the electrolytes we lose in the heat.

The thing is, I don't like the hefty price-tag of calories that go along with the sports drinks or the never ending list of artificial ingredients and fake sweeteners in the diet ones. Here's where my new favorite drink steps in : Coconut Water. Personally the brand that I favor is O.N.E. (One Natural Experience).

I love the flavor, not to mention their eco-friendly packaging. They are mainly made with paper from responsibly managed forests and are made to be recycled. I'm sure you've heard that coconuts are fatty but that's only the meat. The water is naturally fat free, 100% natural, and has 5 essential electrolytes (calcium, potassium, phosphorous, magnesium and sodium). It contains more potassium than a banana and 15 times the amount of regular sports drinks. There's no added sugars, no fat, no cholesterol, no preservatives and the entire 11 oz carton has only 60 calories. The taste is slightly sweet and instantly quenches my thirst. It's natures sports drink and there's nothing better than that after a summer workout.
