Kate Hudson: Long & Lean Legs - Without Hitting The Gym!?!
Tall, slim, with a sexy pair of legs - what is Kate Hudson’s secret? Hours in the Gym - no. Expensive personal trainers - wrong again. Starvation diets - not a chance. Give up? Here’s a hint - she’s wearing leg warmers in the above picture… That’s right - Dance - who knew!?! According to Vogue Magazine, Kathe Hudson is a trained dancer who takes jazz and ballet up to four times a week. When she is not in the dance studio, she gets her exercise on the soccer field. In general, this 29 year old mother of one, tries to skip the gym and live an overall active and health conscious lifestyle. To learn more about Kate’s laid back approach to fitness…………..
In regards to nutrition, she cooks her own meals, most of the time, and she chows down on normal foods like steak and fries, but in moderation. During a recent interview with Vogue, she explained that she refuses to keep a scale in her house. I’m shocked, Kate Hudson’s house might be the only home in Hollywood without a scale! I’m glad to hear that not every celebrity is obsessed over their weight. With that said, I do own a scale, and even though I’m 7 months pregnant, I still weigh in on a daily basis. Oh well, what can I say - I’m a numbers girl!
During the interview, Kate did turn down a piece of cake claiming that she had, “an intolerance to wheat”. This could be another reason why this star looks so good, she’s on a hybrid version of the Atkins diet. When asked about the 70 lbs. she put on during her pregnancy, Kate explained that she enjoyed being able to give into her cravings.
“I would be eating ice cream and my mom would literally pry the spoon away from me saying, ‘You’ve had enough to last you a lifetime.” - Kate Hudson, Vogue Magazine
Overall, Kate looks amazing and I love her laid back approach to fitness. She has officially inspired me, look out dance class, there’s a wobbly pregnant lady coming your way!
Post A Comment: What do you think of Kate’s philosophy towards fitness and nutrition? Do any of you ladies dance as your main form of exercise?

kates philosophy on fitness and health is a philosophy i think most people should take. its healthy but not obsessive. ive actually been dancing before i could correctly pronounce the letter “w” haha. so ive been dancing pretty much my whole life and it does wonders to your body!
angela - February 26, 2008 @ 8:57 amJust dancing around the house gets me sweaty. I can only imagine what a great workout it is if you go regularly. I think Kate Hudson’s philosphy is awesome. If I can’t run for some reason, I just take a couple of nice walks during the day. Staying active is key.
Kim - February 26, 2008 @ 10:32 amVery inspirational! Dance IS wonderful, and I’ve read that Kate’s mom, Goldie, is also a dancer, so she grew up with a good role model.
I don’t think Kate’s always been this laid back about weight, though. She was the perfect example of an extreme celeb weight loss story when she shed 60 lbs of baby weight in something like four months. Glad to see she’s taking a different attitude toward her health now.
